It's a very simple hostel. But the view on the second floor is excellent. Sitting in the chair hearing the sound of the creek and seeing the could flow across the mountain is a very relaxing feeling. The owners are very nice, honest and helpful people. One of us was not feeling well on arrival. They immediately brought one cup of hot tea supposedly helpful with high altitude sickness.

The location is only a block or two from several restaurants, shops and the cross street to the ruins. View isn't a great as I had hoped, but not bad and only a minor point if you're in one evening and gone the next morning. (See next comment.) It's also an easy walk to the ruins and if you get there early you have them almost to yourself. Ruins opened at 7 and we were the only ones there. Actually had to wait for an English-speaking guide to show up. Be early because the crowds build all day long!!

Excellent location, really nice premises and didn’t have a hostel feel at all. Decent size room and comfy beds.

A pretty good value for the money. Right on the outskirts of the town and next to the road that allows for easy luggage transport, but close enough to the main square. The beds were comfortable with heavy blankets. We borrowed a heater from the front desk. They packed us a HUGE breakfast for the day we went to Machu Picchu. Good breakfast. The outdoor sitting area is very pretty and relaxing.
